(More customer reviews)I purchased this for my granddaughter for Christmas this year. She is 4 1/2 and has had the larger mega blocks for some years. She loves to build "towers" for hours so I expected these cute, pink blocks to be a hit. They arrived a little late due to the weather and she opened them last evening and absolutely loved them! The doors, windows, and little girl were a new, unique addition to her building and added a slightly different dimension to her play. I just read some negative reviews about a smaller, similar Mega Bloks set that would not stay together but, so far, these blocks seem to be functioning as well as those in her old set. Some of them did seem a bit tight and difficult for her to stick together at first but I expect them to loosen up with use. This morning, I've been looking for more of the same to add to her set or to keep at our home as she was very anxious to take them and the handy tub home with her to share with her friends.
It was a nice addition to have a sheet of stickers to personalize the blocks but also a small chore to apply. I'm not sure how long they will stay on but she enjoyed the idea and effect. There was also a colorful picture to help direct the application of the stickers and suggest building options that she seemed to like.
