Where have these little wonders been!?
Anyone who works a lot with NXT robots can tell you that the motor and sensor wires are painful to work with. They're ugly, thick, ungainly, hard to bend, and designed in lengths that have no relationship whatsoever to the size of the typical robot.
Flexi-cables to the rescue. They're the right length, light, easy to move around, and fit perfectly on my models. They're one of the best purchases I've made for my NXT fixation.
You may be saying to yourself that you can make your own cables. Well, I've tried and it is *not* easy. They use the standard RJ45 connector, but the wiring is distressingly *non*-standard. You have to work hard to come up with a die that will fit in a regular CAT5 or phone line crimping tool and still make good NXT cables. Is this deliberate? Dunno. Fortunately, Flexi-Cables work equally as well.
