I'm an adult. I like LEGO sets, especially Star Wars LEGO. I admit it! Now that I got that out in the open, I must say that the LEGO Viking series has become my second favorite LEGO line. The dragons, the ships, the little Viking minifigs - all amazing.
If you like LEGO sets too, or have a child who does, you or he or she will love this Viking ship. I also recommend the Viking Fortress and the Viking catapult set.

Build this longboat for master boat builders and sailors, the Vikings, and then sail with them on what may begin as a trade expedition but ends in a high-sea battle against the Midgard serpent. When this vicious reptile rears his scaly head, the Vikings must fire the working catapult to knock him back into the water. This multi-faced toy requires kids to use both construction skills and their creativity to come up with new and exciting adventures. An instruction booklet with detailed color, three-dimensional diagrams shows kids exactly how to fit the 585 pieces together to construct the Viking ship. Four Nordic figures are included to man the ship and stave off the evil serpent. This playset may be combined with other Lego building toys in the Viking series (sold separately) to create a complete Viking village.
