I had some reservations about buying this Brand after reading reviews that the blocks do not lock very well. It turned out I had to spend some time showing the kids how to get the "blocks to lock". These require some force to get them to stay together. While I agree that these are most definitely NOT the best locking blocks on the market, they do the job and for the price its great value for money.
AND, the educational value remains; this toy encourages the child to exercise his imagination,while helping to develop coordination and motor skills.
I think it is good value for the money. I have since bought two more sets and now have over 1000 blocks.
