Comes with instructions for six vehicles (dump truck, race car, mobile crane, dune buggy, off-road truck) from the same parts, including shown car carrier with two cars. Your child can invent many more. Fun to put together, play with, take apart, rebuild as something else. Disassembled, it takes up very little space (great for vacation trips--we always pack it). This is also a great gift for elementary age children.
NOT FOR THOSE 5 AND UNDER:
Has many small parts (209-piece set), and is a hazard for 3 or younger. Product is appropriately marked for 6-12 year olds. When assembled, some of the vehicles tend to be frustrating for 4 & 5 year olds, because the parts pull apart a bit too easily by hands of 4 & 5 year olds. Trust LEGO's age suggestions and don't buy it for someone younger than 6.

Tired of using your TEETH to separate stuck-together LEGOs?
The newer bricks tend to be manufactured with greater precision than the older ones and are, as a result, easier to separate. Nevertheless, I recommend you order a Brick Separator (#630) from LEGO.com for less than $2.
