Lego 50th Anniversary GOLD BRICK Key Chain Review

Lego 50th Anniversary GOLD BRICK Key Chain

Maybe if I only spent 5 dollars, I would be okay with it, but 14 dollars is ridiculous. It is just a standard lego that has its color scratches easily. The lego simply has a screw drilled through it to hold the key chain in place. Very Cheap.

LEGO Hand Crank Dynamo Flash Light Torch Giant Lego Man Stands 7.5" Tall (Colors May Vary) Review

LEGO Hand Crank Dynamo Flash Light Torch Giant Lego Man Stands 7.5 Tall (Colors May Vary)

So I got this for my youngest that is afraid of the dark and prefered his flashlights to nightlights. However he would fall asleep with out turning the flashlight off and of course the batteries would start to die. And by the next night his flashlight wouldn't work. Spending X amount on batteries a week.
So I set out to try to find a hand crank one that didn't need to take batteries and if he left it on all night who cares. All he would have to do is crank it a bit and it was good as new.
So far we've had the flashlight for about 5 days and it has lived up to its standard and I have not had to replace any batteries! I wish I would have found this sooner and will eventually buy another one just incase something happens to this one (we travel alot and I have 2 lively boys)

LEGO Head Lamp Review

LEGO Head Lamp
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
I bought the LEGO Head Lamp alongside the similar, but much larger, Rechargable Dynamo as stocking stuffers for my two girls. Both girls like to read in bed at night and have a fascination with mom and dad's flashlights so these seemed like (and in fact were) perfect gifts. The head lamp went to my almost-5 year old and was a HUGE hit. In fact, she's worn it all day and went to bed with it tonight.
Ironically, I was hesitant to buy this light. The idea of a Lego man you wear around your head with lights in his feet just seemed kind of dopey - and it is, but in a much cuter way than I might have imagined. She looks pretty geek-cool with it on. But the best part about it are those little feet. They can be angled to illuminate in any direction (or two directions at once, because they move independently of one another, just like a real Lego figure does. The arms move, and the head swivels as well.
Another neat aside - and part of the reason I decided to buy this little guy, is that he actually clips onto the head band, so if that doesn't work out, or your child outgrows it and just wants a simple (small) flashlight, you simply remove it, and it can be clipped onto anything else, a backpack, a purse, an article of clothing, the top of a (thin) drawing pad or clip board.
The Lego man alone probably measures 2.5-ish inches tall I would guess, and is - of course - large than a Lego man - more like the size of a Duplo adult figure. When used as a head lamp, he does have a cushioned backing that allows him to sit very comfortably against the forehead, and it leaves no marks behind when removed. The man himself appears to be made of relatively safe, glossy ABS plastic, just as Legos are, with the exception of the cushioned backing. The yellow head band is a soft fiber-coated elastic and is adjustable via a large velcro strip. It can fit an adult head (mine) and my three year old daughter's head as well.
The one drawback of the head lamp, as compared with the larger Dynamo flashlight, is that while both appear to use the same size LED bulbs, the light is less diffuse coming from the smaller openings on this light; the result is that if it shines in your eyes, it kind of hurts. Not the end of the world, but if you have kids, you might well know how often they shine these things in people's eyes accidentally. Fortunately, when used as a head lamp, the legs can be adjusted in a way which makes this less likely to happen. And the upside of this issue is that this light is so bright that my daughter will DEFINITELY not be straining her eyes when reading her books after 'lights out.'
This little guys was so well received, works so much better than I would have imagined, and has such long-lasting useful potential, I wouldn't hesitate to recommend him to anyone. I think he's fantastic. For those concerned with country of origin, the head lamp is made in China.

This flashlight is very cute. If you have a Lego fan, they will love it. The arms, legs, and head all move, just like the original Lego toy. The light is quite bright and you can shine it on two places at once. I would buy it again.

LEGO Brick Light Review

LEGO Brick Light

This is a great light. I bought one for each of my sons, and we used double-sided foam tape (not included) to stick them to their bed-posts. There are holes in the base so that you can mount it with screws, but screws oddly were not included. Anyway, the boys can read by the lights at night, and then remove them from the base to use as a flashlight if they get up in the night time. Batteries last a long time in them, too. And, if you use rechargeables, it doesn't matter if they accidentally leave them on.
The best thing about these lights is that they are huge Lego pieces, and that they connect to the base like real Lego blocks! Too cool!

This products is an overall good product. I use it to attract little toddlers attention.
Always calms them down and amazes them. They love the light and whatnot. And no you can not change the LED light bulbs but they last for a really long time. my hasn't gone out yet. But you can replace the batteries in the back.
