(More customer reviews)I had purchased the Toys R Us lego set a week ago & it took about 5 days for it to ship & come. This is one of a special edition that does not sell on lego's website or at any Toys R Us stores anymore, so I was happy to get this for $50. Even though I'm not sure if it was the owner's part or the UPS part for sort of ruining the lego box, I wasn't too happy to see the box in a non-mint condition (I keep all my lego boxes in mint condition). But overall, everything was alright.

Peterbilt 379 Twin Oil Tanker (Shell) Review

(More customer reviews)This tandem tanker truck was nearly all plastic parts except for the metal die cast cab whose doors did not close easily. Purchased for my 4 year old grandson who is really "into trucks of all kinds" and who requested a tanker truck. I looked for a totally metal one but this was the closest I could find. Even after reading the remarks by others that the plastic sections were not very durable, I purchased it anyway. Within 3-4 days there were several plastic metal-like parts that had come off and could not be reglued and the important hook up for towing the tandem tank had broken off. Even the decals were poorly attached to the truck. I would definitely NOT recommend it for children under 8 years old. Sorry that this made in China toy was not durable enough for continued, daily play. Would NOT recommend it for children younger than 8.

(More customer reviews)Our son has loved this truck. He uses small Lego bricks as garbage, and they pass through the auger into the truck's box with no problem. The arm extends from the truck's side and grabs the garbage can. The can is dragged over to the very side of the truck, then lifted and tilted over the opening. The lifting mechanism is very cleverly designed so that no 'garbage' will fall from the can until the lifting knob is slightly over-rotated, thereby opening the garbage can lid. Sounds complex, but it is well built, and has lasted us a year so far. The Bruder line is very tough, and the plastic is almost indestructible.
