(More customer reviews)I had sent my husband and our 5 year old son out to buy groceries at one of the super stores the other night and they came home with this. Apparently they got lost looking for the meat department and ended up in the toy department instead, what a shocker right? Since the container clearly stated for ages 7+ I wasn't exactly thrilled that my husband agreed to buy it. There were so many little pieces that my husband had to help our son put it together. Once it was finished two things ran through my mind. First I didn't think our son would be able to fix it if it fell apart, which it will, a lot, if played with roughly. Second there is a black zip tie like thing that has to go into the back part of the spider then has to be pulled out rather quickly in order to make the spinner on it's back fly off properly and I didn't my son would be able to do this without help or would end up getting so frustrated that he would just ditch the toy. However to my amazement I was wrong, he has been able to fix it each time something has fallen off and he has been able to work the launcher without any problems. I plan to purchase more in the future since he has enjoyed this one so much. However, if you hate toys with little pieces then this isn't the toy for you. If your kids aren't good about keeping toys and their accessories together then this toy isn't for you either because once you lose the black zip tie thing you can't launch the discs. As for the age recommendation I really don't think a 7 year old could put this together his or her self, it is a bit complicated but again I could be proven wrong.
