It has enough Lego's in it to built a average size building a 7 year old would want to build. The drawback with this set is that it has no windows/doors or roof shingles; you have to order these in a separate set. Overall, it was money well spent compared to other toys I've bought my grandson in the past. Lego products do last a very long time.
