Lego Bionicle Dart Shooter Gun Toa Mahri Review

I've had this nerf gun for a while now. I have two of them, and I used them in a nerf gun war. They are just what I was looking for! They have a pretty above average range. For the most part, this gun is very accurate. The nerf darts hardly drop. This is completely better than the Maverick because the Maverick holds less darts, shoots shorter, and takes longer to reload(due to popping out the barrel). Cocking the gun back isn't too hard, it's only slightly harder to cock it back compared to all of the other nerf guns, but it makes up for it by being a very powerful nerf gun.

This was great for my daughters Halloween costume. It could also be used for other Star Wars characters.

Star Wars The Clone Wars Clone Commander Rex Gear, Helmet and Blaster Review

Let me preface by saying if your kids want one, don't let this review dissuade you. However keep in mind a couple of issues:
1. The toy is indicated for 5-12 year olds. We all think our kids are 'better than average' so we don't worry about buying on the low end of the ranges, right? We got this for my 5 year-old's birthday and he really likes it, however, the helmet is heavy and bulky. I'd guess 2-3 lbs. My son is just under 40lbs so you are talking 5-8% of his body weight. If I had a 10-15lb helmet on based on my weight I think it would also quickly tire me. Again, not the products fault, just something to consider when you are buying it for smaller kids.
2. Limited visibility. Like a motorcycle helmet, you aren't wearing this and running through the woods in the backyard. Very limited downward visibility, so difficult to see where you are walking.
3. After you put it together, I'd suggest gluing the parts together. I haven't done this yet, but I have had my son bring the parts to me and ask me to put it back together. It fits together, but doesn't snap/lock in place.
Basically the helmet is like playing in the backyard in a full motorcycle helmet (although not snug). If you can get over that, enjoy, my son sure does.

My little boy is just getting into Transformers, so I bought a few sets for Christmas. When I received them I loved them - and I know he will too!
