Hello Kitty Mini Twin Radios Review

I had purchased theBarbie Chat-with-Me Jelly Talkies Set of 2 - Pink for my girls for Christmas. The things had NO range and were clumsy to use and to top it all off they took expensive watch batteries. After finding these Barbie's going back.
These have a great range good clarity and although small in size are easy to use for my 4 & 6 year olds. And for added fun my husbands radios that we take on camping trips can be set to the same channels now its a 4 way conversation.
I recommend these to any parent looking for a walkie talkie type toy. Have fun with them, I know we will!

LEGO Walkie Talkies Review

LEGO Walkie Talkies

I should start out by saying that I am a physical therapist working in a skilled nursing facility. I recently had a patient that had a hard time with the nurses bell, so I decided to try these out.
I love how easy these are to use - turn the on switch and push the yellow button to talk. The clarity is great (although I have only used these in shorter distances- about 350 feet or less). The battery life has been good as well. And, while I hate to admit it, my little boy got a hold of these and dropped them several times before I got to him with no ill effects on the walkie talkie.
I would definetly get these again, for kids and grown ups alike.

Toy Story 3 Walkie Talkies Review

I bought these walkie talkies for my son. The minute I turned them on, I realized I had gotten the wrong set. The sound quality is poor and the morse code feature could not be heard at all on the receiving end. I would not recommend this set. I feel as though I paid $17.99 for the the privilege of owning the "Toy Story" brand and not much else.

Star Wars Walkie Talkie Review

Star Wars Walkie Talkie

We bought this toy for our 6-year old son who has been a huge Star Wars fan for as long as I can remember, and he has been BEGGING us for these for a long time now. So when they arrived a couple days ago we put brand new batteries in them to make sure they worked and to get them ready to put in his stocking on Christmas. Here's what we found....
The good: They work. You can use them to talk to each other. Kids will have fun with them. They feel like they are built sturdy and should last for a while.
The bad: First, there is a constant static noise coming out of each unit while they are turned on. It only stops when you are using the units to 'talk' to each other. This static does not increase OR decrease as you move around the house, yard, or even getting closer to each other or farther apart. It is always there. Second, of our set one has a quieter speaker than the other on incoming communications from the other unit. We tried talking into different parts of the units and thoroughly tested them for about ten minutes. This is just the way it is. So one user will be able to hear just fine while the other user will probably be saying, "What was that?" a LOT. Third, there is only an on/off button on these, meaning you cannot turn the volume up or down. If you'll be using them outside this might not be a problem, but inside the house... well, that constant static noise will get annoying really quick.
Bottom line: If your child is a big fan and just HAS to have the same Walkie Talkies as they use in Star Wars, then at eight bucks this is a GREAT deal and it's worth the drawbacks. If you want something more reliable and with more functions/options, skip this set.

Please do not buy this product.I caught my 6 and 4 year old daughters trying to talk to each other thru the walkie talkies and happened to hear mens voices one day very clear talking very perverted and dirty things to my children..I called up fisherprice as well as the local police department and fisher price does know that it can pick up any frequency...How can a company stand by this product and subject our children to total strangers without warning us...Please please beware. I am still shaking as I write this..I demanded fisher price to let parents know the dangers but all they will do is refund my money once I return them...Big deal..
