Fisher-Price TRIO Cargo Loader Review

Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)My 4 year old son got this for his birthday and he already has 2 other sets and once you combine all the sets he can build more out of the trio then just what is in the booklet that you receive. I like the idea that fisher price came out with something for the 3-5 year olds that have out grown the duplex legos, and are not quite ready for the smaller legos. My son still enjoys playing with his blocks, he loves to build and create new things from them.

Fisher-Price TRIO Building Set - Dragon Battle Arena Review

Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)Trios are a perfect cross between legos and tinker toys. They easily construct to build large structures that are substantial enough for little hands to manipulate and play with. Our 6 year old can follow the directions himself, but also loves coming up with his own ideas on versions of the Battle Arena. Our 3 year old needs a little help, but once it's put together, he plays and plays with it. The 3 year old has other basic Trio sets and has a lot of fun being creative with them. Best investment ever. I highly recommend the Wizard's and King's playsets together.

Lego Mickey's Fire Engine Mickey Mouse 4164 Review

Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)This is not a toy but a highly sort after collectible. There were only 5 every Mickey Mouse themed Lego sets making these sets very, very hard to find especially in new, or mint condition with boxes. They are absolutely adorable and the mini figures have amazing detail. These are usually priced for the avid and serious collector, NOT as toys for children.

Lego Duplo Big Farm Style # 5649 Review

Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)My grandson loves to play with these blocks, but, they don't stay together very well, when something is built it is VERY easy to fall apart. The pins and holes should be a little longer or hold together better.

Fisher-Price TRIO King's Gatehouse Review

Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)I got this for my 5 year old on Christmas. He loves it. It is a lot like Legos, but less complicated. He can build the castle all by himself. It enhances his imagination as well. H tries to build it several differnt ways, even different than suggested ways. I will give it 5 stars for fun and creativity. Legos are way too complicated for 5-6 year olds and they always need a parent to build it for them. This one...they can build them themselves. Unlike legos, you can make it your own way too. The only negative I would have is, some pieces are just too cumbersome to snap together. But overall, for $[...], a very good purchase.

Fisher-Price TRIO Shark Adventure Review

Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)This toy is pretty cool when put together & seems pretty durable. Fairly easy for an adult to assemble, although some pieces need a bit of force to get them together. The age range on this is 4-7. It would be fun for 4-7 year olds to play with once assembled. I'm sure older children would be able to assemble part of it, but there is no way a 4 year old is going to be able to actually assemble this since many of the pieces go together really hard. So, since the pieces go together really hard, that means they also come apart really hard. Be prepared to rip your fingernails off when it finally breaks free. Fortunately I only lost one & haven't been brave enough to continue the disassembly. Flinging the shark around with the crane is really the highlight of this toy.

Playmobil Skull Pirate Ship Review

Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)whew! i just put this thing together and i have to say it is THE coolest. it took me probably an hour (only because i am not that good at nautical knots) and i am really impressed with the quality of this toy. the detail is incredible. the price is very affordable, especially considering the quality of this ship.
i was looking for a muti-purpose "pirate ship" and bought this particular ship because of the playmobil name, the great price, and the fact that it floats as well as rolls around on wheels. it's really hard to find bath toys for a five year old.
i can't give you feedback as far as my son (soon to be five) is conserned because it is a bithday gift (now how do i wrap this??). but honestly if he dosent like it; i am apt to keep it for myself!
i plan to buy maybe a castle or the vacation home next. i just hope he lets me play with them once in awhile!!!!
tip: as with most playmobil sets, give yourself an hour or two to assemble them if you would like your child to be able play with them as soon as they get them.
p.s. this toy does come with 5 hand guns. since this is a concern of mine, by putting it together before giving it to him i had the opportunity to toss these before he gets his hands on them. plus, i will tell him the swords and knifes that come with it are for cutting up fish and fruit to keep away scurrvey.
oh yeah, and of course all the treasure that is stolen by the pirates is distributed to the poor!!

Fisher-Price TRIO DC Super Friends The Penguin and Umbrella Cannon Review

Little People Builders Farm Ride-On Review

Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)Got this toy for my 12 month old who is a little too timid to walk on his own but cruises all over the place as long as he has something to hold on to. He LOVES this! He pushes it all over the house then stops and opens the seat to put the blocks in and out of. He is also very musical so his favorite part is being able to push the buttons and play music.
We've only had it for a few days but so far its perfect. Only thing is the stickers are already peeling (or being peeled) off. Not a big deal.

John Deere 5 Piece 1:64 Scale Die Cast Construction Vehicle Set - Loader Backhoe, Grader, Large Loader, Small Loader and Truck with Black Trailer Bed Review

Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)I bought these for my 2-year-old for Christmas, as he's obsessed with diggers. I got this set for 1/2 the price listed here in a brick and mortar store. The variety is nice, but all the buckets come off very easily, and lost easily. Needless to say, very frustrating. I wish I had spent a little extra money and bought a few of the pieces individually in die-cast with the buckets attached.
