LEGO Prince of Persia Fight for the Dagger (7571) Review

Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)LEGO is an awesome toy overall. Almost everything is excellent, so I list here just the bad points (but this toy is still definitely a buy!):
1. The camel looks a bit "cheap".
2. Princess Tamina's hairpiece is hard to put on straight while the cape is also on.
3. The door trap isn't 100% level.

LEGO Atlantis Exclusive Limited Edition Set #8079 Shadow Snapper Review

Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)The Lego Atlantis sets are really cool, and this one in particular shines. The turtle looks sleek and ominous, like water is flowing over it. The vehicle was surprisingly nice too! The torpedos were a lot of fun. The design of both parts feels very clever and well-thought-out, especially in the last few steps when the big pieces of the turtle come together. It looks a lot better in person than it does on the box.
The set, if built properly, is *very* stable. If you don't believe me, look at the video review of the set on youtube by the user "SagittoFX". He literally throws the set at the floor and it stays completely intact. That said, the set is a bit more challenging to build than some of the other Atlantis sets. Compared with the similarly priced "Deep Striker" set, this one's definitely a little harder. I was rushing through the instructions and every once in a while I would realize I'd skipped a step and have to go back a page or two. It says ages 7 to 14 on the box; maybe it's really best for slightly older kids. After all, I had a blast with it, and I'm 26 :)

LEGO Harry Potter: Sirius Black's Escape Review

Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)This is a pretty cool set. The only thing wrong is that is should be a little taller like in the movie. This set really recreates the tower in the movie. The only thing wrong is the door. It should be like a prison door like in the movie, not a wooden one. Some good things about this is only one of two sets that have buckbeak, one of four sets that have a dementor, and only one of two sets that have Sirus Black. I RECOMEND THAT YOU BUY THIS!!!

LEGO DUPLO? LEGOVille Circus 5593 Review

Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)This set has animals, people, plus a good mix of standard and special blocks when you want to create something. Our daughter liked the people and animals as a 12-month-old, and is now building stuff. (We've added a box of basic duplo blocks to the mix...) You can't go wrong with a lion, a knife-throwing act and a clown canon.

The ringmaster welcomes you to the amazing LEGO Ville circus starring cute animals and exciting acts! The circus performer does her tricks on the horse, while the monkey throws a cake at the clown, and the elephant and lion do their well rehearsed tricks. The show wouldn't be complete without a trapeze act or a cannon shot.

LEGO Atlantis Typhoon Turbo Sub (8060) Review

(More customer reviews)My ten year old received this for Christmas and really likes it. Was surprised the propellers tilted easily and like they should, since normally things don't work like they should. It's Lego, if you have kids who like Lego, they will like it!

LEGO Atlantis BrickMaster Exclusive Mini Building Set #20013 Submarine Bagged Review

Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)First thing is IGNORE the review by "grandma" she has 2 items confused. This is the ATLANTIS BRICKMASTER LEGO EXCLUSIVE set sold by mail via the Lego brickmaster club. This is NOT the ATLANTIS brickmaster BOOK that you see at Barnes and Noble for 30 dollars. That "book" is not an exclusive set and is sold everywhere. These were not sold in stores and Lego has discontinued the brickmaster club.
All though not very big this is a great set and with the demise of LEGO ATLANTIS these will become rare. Makes a great addition to the ATLANTIS sets, only wish it had a minifig like some of the last brickmaster sets Lego made.

LEGO Indiana Jones Jungle Cruiser (20004) Review

Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)Horrible price on this set. My opinion carries no less weight than the sellers opinion that it is worth more. In fact I can back up what I say.
Search for 'lego for sale' in your favorite search engine (and ignore the ads). It's the link right after LEGO's own link people instead of assuming Amazon always has the best price. 7 out of 10 times you will realize just how ignorant assuming that can be. There are honest resellers out there asking honest prices. Do your homework and be happy.

LEGO City Sports Car (8402) Review

Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)Our grandson wanted this Lego car for his 8th birthday. Rather than hunt for it in the store---I ordered it from Amazon.com! The delivery time was good and our grandson was pleased to get just what he wanted as one of his birthday presents. He LOVES Legos! He and his friends quickly assembled the car and he plays with it frequently. Legos directions help children assemble the toys using great 1,2,3, steps along with great pictures of the pieces needed for each step. I think this really helps children assemble the toy they have chosen by taking the steps prescribed and following directions!

LEGO Star Wars Rebel Trooper Battle Pack (8083) Review

Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)I purchased this as a gift for a five year old boy. He immediately opened it and tackled building it. He successfully completed it that afternoon. A big plus for Lego toys is the instructions: Lego got its instructions right. That a five year old can assemble this toy on his own, without help, pretty much says it all. The directions are clear and easy to understand. Their method is to show all of the parts needed for each step, which allows you to collect the parts needed before you start each step. They even put life-size pictures of similar parts that allow you to compare the actual piece with the picture to make sure it's the right size. The only problem we encountered occurred when we put the finishing touches on it in the final steps. It can be a little hard to attach pieces without accidentally removing others (for which I removed a star from the durability rating). It's said that getting there is half the fun, but in this case building these toys seems to be the most fun of all.

LEGO City Coast Guard Patrol Boat and Tower Review

Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)My Grandson received this for his birthday and had it assembled before bedtime and absolutely loves it. He has taken over the dining room table with his Legos and plays with them before school and as soon as he finishes his homework. It was a great investment on our part just for the educational value. He takes it apart and rebuilds it in different configurations using his other Legos and you never know what it will look like when he's finished. Thanks, and if the prices could be a little lower, we would be buying more of them.

LEGO? Atlantis Exploration HQ 8077 Review

Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)the Atlantis Exploration HQ was in my nephews top 5 list for Xmas. I was not sure about paying so much for Legos, but then I saw his eyes light up. He spent about 4 hours Xmas day working on it and still was not finished, according to his mother it took him another 4-5 hours and he has rebuilt in other forms since - so in the end the cost was well worth it.

LEGO Atlantis Seabed Strider 105 Pieces Review

Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)My 9-year-old son wrote the following review: "The Seabed Strider Set came with a yellow diver and a Hammerhead Guardian. It also came with an Ancient Shield. The sub also transforms pretty well. The thing I'm most impressed by is the Hammerhead Guardian's unique head. If you take off his helmet, you can see a red head that is transparent. Overall, I rate this set a 5 out of 5 stars."

MV Tampa Container Ship Model 1-550 by Imex Review

Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)The hull and body of this ship is ok. My hull was warped and had a hard time gluing it to the deck because it kept popping out from it being bent. The containers are crap, not very detailed and hard to put together. Overall, I only displayed the body of the ship without the containers.

LEGO Atlantis Keychain #852774 Shark Warrior Review

Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)The shark warrior is so cool! The Amazon picture is terrible - the best view of the keychain is definitely to the side. What you can't see in the picture is that he has his intricate tribal markings at the top of the head and also on the front of the chest and legs. Due to the nature of his physique, his head doesn't rotate like the other Lego figures/keychains. But the head is a separate element and he has a separate grey belt at the waist. Because the arms and legs are movable, you can have fun posing him (the legs move independently, which is nice!). Even the wrists move so you can move around the hands.
The really nice thing about the Lego keychains is that they actually stay on the ring and don't fall off easily. I've had some on my key chain for over a year now with no problem.
It's a great little keychain and a fun toy to boot!

LEGO Indiana Jones Venice Canal Chase (7197) Review

Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)I bought this for my 4 year old. Even though he isn't familiar with the Indiana Jones story (which is definitely before his time), he enjoyed building it and playing with it afterward. The boats have a very ingenious setup where you can push something on it and it flies apart. Indiana Jones comes with his trademark hat and whip. Every character has a weapon to hold onto for pretend play. This is definitely a recommended Lego set to buy (it has boats, minifigures, bridge). This Lego set was challenging to build and in the end, the child has a toy to play with. This set stays put together even after many intense play.
