LEGO? Kingdoms King's Castle 7946 Review

Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)My 11 year-old LEGO fan son started working on this the moment he came home from school yesterday. He is just now done with the set.
His friend Jaxon came over today and they both worked on it and had a blast.
The consensus is, "This is such a great set. It has really awesome mini figs."
And it does. It comes with eight, very detailed (LEGO style) figures. There are catapults and lots of other really cool working parts. There's even a rat for the dungeons.
Visit our pictures in customer images to see some of the details in this set.
"It is so worth the money. It has a drawbridge that goes up and down and a gate too. The white horse can be a unicorn with the right armor. You can launch stuff from the towers. And you can have epic battles with the mini figs. The dragon knight is just plain awesome."
"This castle set is by far the best."
It has been a big hit for two LEGO fans that usually like to create their own stuff from large piles of mismatched LEGOS. With 933 pieces and just under $100, it makes each piece just over 10 cents. If you've ever priced out LEGO pick-a-brick pieces, you know that this is a good price.
The final message from them is, "Just buy it -- period."

LEGO - Mistlands Tower Review

Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)Our Son had ask for several of the Knight's Kingdom Lego sets for Christmas that aren't available anymore so that was a challange in and of itself...and to find them at a reasonable price was even MORE of a challange. When the one from Amazon arrived at Nana's house (MY Mother In-Law's) we were so excited to hear it was just as described and in perfect condition! Our son's "Pop Pop" passed away this past October and it was hard for Nana to shop or to really get into the spirit of Christmas...but when she saw her grandson open up all those Lego sets from her he had wanted for so long...she was the hero of Christmas! He had so much fun putting those different sets together...and he loved that Mom helped him too! He's almost 10 so that may disappear soon...LOL! Thanks for shipping to Grandma's house so she could have the joy of giving him what Pop Pop would have loved to have seen him open and play with...He really misses him so much but that made things just a little easier. Thanks again!

LEGO Harry Potter: Sirius Black's Escape Review

Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)This is a pretty cool set. The only thing wrong is that is should be a little taller like in the movie. This set really recreates the tower in the movie. The only thing wrong is the door. It should be like a prison door like in the movie, not a wooden one. Some good things about this is only one of two sets that have buckbeak, one of four sets that have a dementor, and only one of two sets that have Sirus Black. I RECOMEND THAT YOU BUY THIS!!!

LEGO 6056 Dragon Masters Dragon Wagon, 103 PIECES Review

Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)This is only 1 set in the MANY that were released during its era. THE DRAGON MASTERS is in my opinion, by far, the BEST Castle LEGOS that were ever released... Right around the time of DRAGON WARRIOR series of RPG games for the original NINTENDO entertainment system. They included MAJISTO, the wizard who had quite a few of his own sets ranging from the $5 dollar cart carrier to his own FIRE DRAGON FORTRESS valued at the time at around $75. The WOLF PACK was also released during this same time. I would recommend this for any fan of the castle series.. This was the Horse drawn carriage / cage that was used by Castle LEGO men to transport the actual DRAGONS. It included 2 horses, 2 men, in full armor, along with Fire Dragon FLAG, and many other accessories. A MUST have for any CASTLE LEGO COLLECTOR!!

LEGO Harry Potter: Chamber of the Winged Keys (4704) Review

Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)Since I bought the Harry Potter LEGO kit, one of the sets I got was The Chamber of the Winged Keys. in this scene, Harry and Ron need to catch a winged key to unlock the door. Only then will they be able to pass into the Chess room to play the ultimate battling game. This set includes Harry, Ron, the White King, a broomstick to catch the keys with, five flying keys, a chamber for the keys, and a chamber with nine Chess squares. This set becomes more intresting when you combine it with these sets: #4702 The Final Challenge and #4706 The Forbidden Corridor. I highly recommend this fantastic, high flying set.

LEGO Knight's Kingdom: Royal Joust (6095) Review

Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)I was really impressed by the incredible amount of detail in this small set. The knights, their shields, and their horses are colorful and fun. The castle has a stained glass window and lion figureheads.
While this isn't the largest or most impressive looking of the Lego castles, I found it to be the perfect size for a 7-year-old beginner at Lego building. With some help from his older brother, my son was able to build his first Lego castle. A month after getting it, he still enjoys it and plays with it often. Unlike another Lego set that he had, this one has no durability problems and didn't keep falling apart after it was assembled. It's great for kids who actually want to play with the finished pieces, instead of just displaying them.

Fisher-Price TRIO Building Set - Dragon Battle Arena Review

Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)Trios are a perfect cross between legos and tinker toys. They easily construct to build large structures that are substantial enough for little hands to manipulate and play with. Our 6 year old can follow the directions himself, but also loves coming up with his own ideas on versions of the Battle Arena. Our 3 year old needs a little help, but once it's put together, he plays and plays with it. The 3 year old has other basic Trio sets and has a lot of fun being creative with them. Best investment ever. I highly recommend the Wizard's and King's playsets together.

HARRY POTTER: HAGRID'S HUT WORLD OF HOGWARTS PLAYSET Review

Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)I love this playset, but this is not Hut. This is a little house not even made out of wood like in the story! It should've at least looked like the hut in the movie. I even have to say that the lego Hagrid's Hut is better. ... But the lego design does look like the hut. ... Insid this a pretty funny looking Hagrid figure. The way the things move inside are nice, like the fire around the cauldron and the hatching Norbert! Well, I guess it's ok, but if only it were designed better. Well it's good enough to connect to Hogwarts playset.

LEGO Harry Potter Diagon Alley 10217 Review

Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)As crazy as it sounds, I asked my two almost-grown sons to get me a Harry Potter Lego set for Mother's Day. Flowers are nice, cards are sweet, but I wanted a present that would last for years and maybe even increase in value. And the bonus? I get to spend quality time with my boys reliving the fun of building Lego sets, and the memories we share while building the Harry Potter sets are wonderful. The set that I opened on Mother's Day was....ta-da...Diagon Alley! Great choice, and I get to be a kid again along with them when we construct it later this week. (with HP movie music playing in the background) It will look great with our other Legos on display.

Expand your very own wizarding world of Harry PotterTM!No need to pass through the Leaky Cauldron. Now even Muggles can shop in Diagon Alley by building this fantastically magical set that includes 3 extensively detailed buildings and 11 minifigures! Join Harry Potter, Ron Weasley and Hermione Granger as they shop for their HogwartsTM school supplies. Visit Ollivander's, Borgin and Burke's, and Gringott's Bank. Each Diagon Alley building is realistically detailed. Ollivander's offers an extensive selection of wands, storage shelves and a step ladder that allows Ollivander to gather wands from the top floor. The front desk has an "exploding" function for those inconvenient times when a spell goes awry. Borgin and Burke's includes a scary skeleton, glow-in-the-dark elements, a fireplace attached to the Floo Network and a Vanishing Cabinet that Dark wizards might use to sneak in. Gringott's Bank is an impressive two-story building with double doors, and can be opened completely into a large building or closed to create a smaller building. The bank's interior features a removable vault, along with the Philosopher's Stone, a clerk's desk, a chandelier and 'wonky' support pillars. Includes 11 minifigures: Harry Potter, Ron Weasley and Hermione Granger, each with magic wand; Rubeus Hagrid, equipped with his umbrella; Fred and George Weasley; 2 Gringott's goblins; Mr. Ollivander; Lucius Malfoy (in Death Eater disguise); Fenrir Greyback; and 4 new, decorated owls.
