LEGO Bionicle The Mask of Light: Turahk Review

LEGO Bionicle The Mask of Light: Turahk
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
Lego's newest sensation of Bionicle Figures has hit store shelves. The Rahkshi were said to be created by Makuta himself, and they pose far more of a threat to our Heroes of Mata Nui. with over 15 points of articulation, the Rahkshi can attempt almost any pose. As you are building this very easy-to-build LEGO Model, you see the genious design that makes them work. You say to yourself, wow, so thats how it works. What about the final model? Its great for play. I have had no pieces break off yet, unless I did it on purpose. Contrary To popular belief, you can build more creations of your own out of Parts from this toy. The picture above does not fully illustrate the greatness of this toy, it is better seen as crouching a little. The Canister this toy comes in also serves as a pod! Just peel the sticker (back)off and you will be able to store it away when done with him. I give thanks to LEGO for this great toy, and I urge you to pick up yours today before it is too late. Buy Now! You wont regret this!

Star Wars - The Saga Collection - Episode III Revenge of the Sith - Basic Figure - Commander Cody Review

Star Wars - The Saga Collection - Episode III Revenge of the Sith - Basic Figure - Commander Cody
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
Commander Cody, everyone's favorite Clone Trooper (Or at least mine) has finally made it to action figure form! This and Scorch are the two rarest figures in The Saga Collection. You might as well put Ultimate Galactic Hunt stickers on them! I managed to find one at Walgreens (Suprising? Yes, very.) and I was in awe of finding it.
The good things: Articulation points are ball jointed head, swivel arms, ball jointed elbows, swivel hands, ball jointed torso, swivel legs and ball jointed knees. Accessories are removable helmet, removable jetpack, blaster rifle and blaster pistol. It also has some nicely painted battle damage! It makes him go along well with his other 212th clone trooper figures who also have damage.
The bad things: Yes, there are bad things. A removable helmet means a head underneath the helmet, but the head is TINY! This figure is also the shortest clone trooper sculpt yet, even though all the clones are supposed to be the same size. And it's right leg is hard to put in a position to keep it up, but eventually I found a way to make him stand while he wasn't on his actuall stand.
Overall, it gets a 4.5/5, but I can't do that so it gets a 5/5!

Have two boys, and both love the Bionicle Line by Lego. They got all the movies that came out, and they play with these toys all the time. Everytime a new line comes up I buy the whole set. So far it never failed me. Tons of fun with pretend play. And very educational (with the first set I ended up building them, but now they just do it themselves). I hav an 8 y/o and 11 y/o.

Transformers Movie Deluxe Exclusive Figure in Canister Decepticon Brawl Review

Transformers Movie Deluxe Exclusive Figure in Canister Decepticon Brawl
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
bought this after the first movie at target, it was cheap and looked better than all the others. id say i got my 11 bucks worth, and he has a killer array of weapons. hes fairly easy to transform, but his back, which holds his arms, pops off when i get rough with him, this makes for a nice battle scene, but not good for a durability rating, his arms don't stay in place for all the Klondike bars in the world, meaning i have to hold them in @#$%^&* place when i play with him. I really like the mechalive, although they called it something else back then, where his treads and head pops up at the same time you pull his chest down, but i had to glue and tighten the gears so the treads would work after not too long, but hes definitely worth it. after seeing the alternate Brawls, i want the deep desert brawl, but id probably be saying the same thing for this guy, Allspark powered up robots was a nice touch on some of them for kids, i can see myself going bananas for these guys ten years ago.

Halo 3: Master Chief Kubricks 4-Pack Review

Halo 3: Master Chief Kubricks 4-Pack
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
This set contains four Master Chief Kubrick figures in four different colors. The colors include blue, red, green, and clear. There is also a rare black Master Chief chase figure. Sets that contain this figure will not contain the clear figure. In addition, the set also includes weapons for each figure. Included are 4 battle rifles (one per figure) and eight SMGs (two per figure). The set is packaged in a display box that gives a clear view of all four figures and their weapons. Each figure measures about 2.5 inches tall and resembles a large Lego style figure. Although these figures can be taken apart like Legos, I would not recommend it since they are not as durable as Legos.
The overall quality of this set is pretty poor. The paint and detailing work is lack luster and could be seen as down right sloppy. Many paint related defects such as spots and blotches can be found throughout. The legs of some of the figures in my set were also stuck together from when the paint first dried and had to be gently pulled loose.
The figures also seem to have been assembled with little care. The legs on some of the figures are uneven causing them to lean slightly when standing. In addition, some of the armor has also been put on poorly and requires some readjustments. The biggest problem with the assembly is the figures' hands. First of all, it looks like two different types of plastics were used in producing the hands for the figures. One type is a hard plastic, and the other is a softer plastic. Visually there are only slight differences is appearance between the two plastics, but this creates a situation where some figures will have mismatched hands. In addition, the hands are also very loosely put on and can come off easily. This can pose a choking hazard, so these toys should stay away from young children. Care should also be taken to not lose any of hands.
The overall playability of the set is low. They can only really be put in a standing position. The range of motion of the arms and legs are limited by the figure's body armor. The figures are unable to fully raise their arms. In addition, the way each figure holds his gun looks somewhat awkward, especially when holding the SMGs. The lack of enemies also hinders the playability of the set.
This set is definitely geared more towards a collector than a person looking to open up the set and play with the toys. If kept in the unopened display box, the deficiencies of this set are hardly noticeable. Only upon closer inspection can one really see problems. With an MSRP of around $20, I would expect the figures to look just as nice out of the box as they do inside. The bottom line is if you are a collector who plans to just display the figures in the box and never take them out, this set maybe a decent buy. For everyone else, this is a set to probably just avoid all together.

LEGO Bionicle Toa SUPER NUVA Figure #8568 Pohatu Brown Review

LEGO Bionicle Toa SUPER NUVA Figure #8568 Pohatu Brown
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
Pohatu's great new form is awesome. It is ten times more durable than the original, and its head does not loll up and down. The hands and armor additions look awesome, and its sturdier standing position makes it not slip when the moving leg accidentally moves slightly. The mask looks even better also. This took me no longer than ten minutes to build. You can do great stuff with it too like combine its hands to make the kickable object that the original possesses, and modify it so both its legs move. This is a must-have for bionicle collectors and I'm sure the other five will be even better.

Star Wras Attack of the Clones Jango Fett w/Snap On Armor Review

Star Wras Attack of the Clones Jango Fett w/Snap On Armor
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
When dealing with this figure, I would have to say that there are many pros, but there are a few cons as well. This is not to say that the figure isn't superb (especially considering the quality of the last Star Wars releases that I have to compare them to), but it could have had a few things to give it that extra "O yeah" ness. Also, for some sick reason, a few of my friends consider some of the cons "too much," so I'll list them in case you, too, find this to be too offensive enough to warrant a non-purchase. (although Jango cries inside when you don't buy him)
Pros:
1)Looking at the naked Jango you see inside of a package makes you appreciate all of the little accessories that he comes with. For instance, this version comes with wrist cuffs that can be taken on and off, a chest piece that can be treated the same way, plus an extra weapon (which, in my mind, is a con as well.) to go on top of his two pistols.
2)The sounds the backpack produces, while very basic, are really true to the Star Wars sounds. Blaster fire and Jetpacks have that distinct sound, and are easily recognized when reproduced properly. Sadly, there are but two.
Cons:
1) The pistols are homeless, unlike those of the "Escape" model (which you need to buy).It actually has holster on each leg for those minute weapons, giving the figure than much more. For the extra money to get the sound effects, I would have also liked to had my weapons fit my figure like the other one does.
2) The "big shooting weapon" is always a defect in my book. I really don't need one, and would prefer something else, especially when "shooting" means me pushing the projectile out. Plunging isn't something I like to do in my freetime, and this action always reminds me of it for some reason.
3) The huge jetpack is so bulky that it makes Jango tip over quite often. You can see that it isn't the right size in the pictures, and can tell this in person ever better. Also, the noises are a bit primitive and could have numbered in the thousands! (or at least four), but o well.
That said, I still think the figure is still a wonderful buy. The accessories alone get my vote, and I would have given it five stars if Jango's backpack hadn't thrown him into my floor three times already this morning.
Don't listen to my friends! Jango's therapist says he needs you so much.

..., this is Panrahk , the "Explosive Fragmentor" , he is one off the six sons of Makuta , the main villian in the Bionicle storyline , the Rahkshi's mission : Find the seventh toa (Takanuva : Toa of Light) and destroy him! Panrahk is one of the more unpredictable Rahkshi , one minute he could be lost in the hunt for Takanuva and the other six Toa Nuva , and the next minute he may attacking anything in sight! His staff has the power to shatter anything in its path! He is so powerful , that when he wlaks, little explosions occur! His Kraata type , Kraata Xi , is the tan adn brown Kraata , I got a level 3 Kraata Xi (Check to booklets on the backs of Rahkshi sets , the lowest kraata on the spectrum is level one , the highest is level six , but the TRUE highest is the Shadow Kraata , level Seven , but that wont be in kits :( ) Overall , he is SUPER POSEABLE , VERY COOL , FUN TO PLAY WITH , and shows that THE RAHKSHI ARE THE BEST SETS IN THE LEGO BIONICLE LINE SO FAR . Now , if you'll excuse me, IM saving up for Takanuva (the 7th toa) , the new Makuta set (YAY!) and all the new Matoran!

This toy is fun and can be combined with two other bionicles in the set which include kopaka and lewa, but this toy only has the educational value from the fact that you build it. It is very durable,(the only way it breaks is if it falls apart)And I think that it has many good aspects, and a high rating deserved toy.

LEGO Bionicle: Toa Onewa - Brown Review

LEGO Bionicle: Toa Onewa - Brown
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
I remember when I first bought the Bionicles two years ago and how "amazing" they were then. Now I've bought this one and the old classics seems like junk. These Toa-Metru can bend their knees, twist their heads and you have the option of one, two or neither of their arms moving!
The Bionicle saga has brought us back in time when the wise, old villagers (Turaga) are now toa. I only own (as of now) Onewa and Nokama. Onewa has an awsome color (it's almost like "wood" brown) and great action accessories. His Proto Pitons help him climb and carve the cliffs of Po-Metru. I have a split opinion about his mask, though. I like it because it's Graet Power is the power of mind control. This leaves a lot of imagination for playing. I dislike the mask because of it's appearance. It looks almost squished and I don't really care for it. All-in-all, I love this Toa Metru and look foward to buying more in the future.

Captain Rex with Firing Missile Launcher - Star Wars: The Clone Wars Review

Captain Rex with Firing Missile Launcher - Star Wars: The Clone Wars
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
I bought this toy as soon as it came to the nearest store, and I love it!! It is so cool!! It has lots of features including:

1) Removable helmet and head
2) 2 awesome pistols that go in their holsters
3) 4 weapons: 2 pistols, 1 blaster rifle, and 1 firing canon that attaches to his rifle
4) Really awesome pianting job, and a nice color!
If you get the Obi-Wan Kenobe in the same series, you can swap Captain Rex's helmet for the one provided in the Obi-Wan set, and make him look even cooler!!
I bought 3 of them, and on the one, I cut off the apron around his holsters, and cristened him a liutenant, and on the other, I completely cut off his entire apron, and made him a regular 501st trooper.
Over all, this figure is a great figure, (the best, actually,) and he's totaly worth the money. I suggest you get him!!!

Lego Bionicle Toa Hordika Nuju (White) #8741 Review

Lego Bionicle Toa Hordika Nuju (White) #8741
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
The review below is wrong. When the Hordika were mutated by the Visorak, their masks fused with their faces. Plus, they don't have their usual control over the elements anymore. Instead, their "tools" carry a little elemental energy, and so do the Rhotuka, which are powered by their tools.
BTW, these are shaping up to be great sets, along with the Rahaga. The three (known) larger sets aren't half-bad, but Sidorak REALLY could use improvements. Anyway, Nuju Hordika's Teeth Tools are rubber, just like the rest of the Hordika. Unlike the others(not counting Vakama), his Teeth Tools' rubber components aren't silver, instead they're Trans Lt. Blue.
The packaging might be a bit hard to open for a couple of the Hordika, but it makes up for the great pic on the front, and a nice pic of the other Hordika on the back.
Overall, a great set, you might wanna go to your local TRU and pick up a couple.

LEGO BIONICLE 8571 Kopaka Nuva
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
Kopaka Nuva is in my opinion the best Toa Nuva. It is excruciatingly fun, and just looks cool. Even though it is a ton like the original, it is still very fun. Some may not want to get it because its so much like the original, but if your a collector or a nuva fan then I reccomend this item next time you got to a store! It is pretty durable especially for a lego and will only brake if you want try to break it. Being a building toy, it is also very educational. You can use your imagination to make new things and not just what its supposed too. Kopaka Nuvas mask is also harder to knock off then the originals making it fit better to the storyline and at the same time preventing irritating mask falling off during playing! So on a scale of one to ten this is a TEN! Why are you still reading this? Go! Buy it!
