(More customer reviews)My nephew is crazy about airplanes and building toys. This was the perfect combination of the two. We had fun building it together. He's 5 and could follow the instructions on his own but needed help with the stickers. The only drawback is that there is one large sticker that encompasses the whole body of the plane, so you can only fully build it once.

(More customer reviews)My son (8) loves the plane. He easily assembled it (not too difficult, education only 3 stars) and it routinly crashes. No problem, because it is very durable. He hase some other city parts and the plane opened the 3rd dimension to is play. I would recommend it.

He loves the fold out landing gear and has fun making his own "modifications." The first plane he built took several hours and he has been playing with this set daily for the past two weeks. (More customer reviews)My airplane lego lovers think these are fabulous, the engines and tail falls off all the time (really frustrating to the 3 year old, and mom always looking for them ) but the stickers do a great job holding the body of the plane together. My 5 year old put it together easily on his own. I totally recommend it, my kids love them, we have three different ones.

Pros:
The 3181 is smaller and easier to play with than the larger Lego Passenger plane.
This plane is large enough to carry mini-figures while still being small enough to be carried by the younger children.
Cons:
The smaller size does not allow as many mini-figures to be carried nor as much cargo as the larger plane.
Overall, my children give this Lego kit very high ratings, making it a welcome addition alongside the Lego Air Mail plane or Lego City Seaplane.

Lego Indiana Jones Peril in Peru 7628 Review

(More customer reviews)Hello. First off, if you buy this directly in a Toys R Us store it is only 50% of the cost here on Amazon. I'm not sure why, but there you go.
The set is sweet, no question. Obviously the focal point is going to be that airplane. I don't know any other lego set that offers an airplane with as much charm as this one. It really captures the look of a 50's era utility plane. The airplane is smaller than the larger planes coming out in the airport and cargo sets, so just room for a single pilot in the front and then a couple figs in the middle. There is also room in the back for a crate. The airplane has a door for access to the cargo hold, but doesn't have one for the figs, but the top of the airplane removes easily.
In addition to the airplane you get a nice jeep which and a cool tractor. The tractor comes with a trailer for cargo and a stairway for access to the airplane. The set also includes an assortment of figs (the standard ones for the Indiana Jones sets).
In the end, I think the set is a little pricey but a better deal than some of the other Lego Indiana Jones sets. As this is an exclusive and limited, I think the airplane will be highly popular later.

Best-Lock Junior Plane, Car and Copter Review

(More customer reviews)My problem is with the packaging. The vehicles are about half the size that they appear to be based on the box size and pictures. Also my two-year-old pulled the helicopter apart and the (child-style) plastic screw was easily exposed, so it could be called a choking hazard.

(More customer reviews)This is an awesome set. My 7 yr old put this together by himself with very little help needed from a parent. The pieces fit with lego and other lego-type building pieces which is great if you have a kid that likes to use their imagination and create their own. I was nervous that this would be junk b/c of the price in comparison to Legos... but it is sturdy and definitely better than other Lego Copy Cat building sets we have tried in the past. I would definitely recommend this toy.

Lego Preschool Duplo Airport Action Set (7840) Review

(More customer reviews)My 2 year old son received this airplane as a gift on Christmas and has played with it a ton in the past couple of months since. Legos in general are great tools to allow kids to learn about the world around them and use their imagination. My son has spent hours loading the cargo hold of the plane with the forklift, having the passengers get into the plane for an imaginary trip to "Hawaii" or "California." It also helped us get him ready to go on long plane rides and long waits at the airport, as there is a context in his mind to seeing various airplanes out in the runway, and waiting in line to board the plane and such.
A couple of notes: Unlike other lego sets, this set isn't designed to allow kids to build different things, you pretty much have an airplane and thats all you will ever have with this. Also, we used some double sided tape to keep the wings tight to the body of the plane, as that is the annoying part of the lego toy (lego lovers can understand) that always keeps coming off.
