(More customer reviews)My 2 1\2 year old received the bus and the fire truck for Xmas.
The fire truck is very cute but does not always stay together all that well for little kid play and it is not an easy fix for my 2 year old to try and put the truck together like the box.
Being 2 he wants to be able to do things himself. He still enjoys the toy a lot and it is cute, but he does have more frustrations with this toy VS the bus.
He will get frustrated with this, but not the bus, it is all one piece no fuss.
The lights and sirens are VERY cool!!! I do like how easy it is to put the people in the cab for little fingers and hands.
The ladder is also very neat and a fun accessory for the 2 year old. The 2 hoses are confusing and almost unnecesary, they don't even look nice on the truck because they are so stiff.

(More customer reviews)This truck unit comes with several pieces of equipment that should keep a fire-fighting kid happy. It includes a hose, a removable saw and a trailer that can be detached. It reminds me more of a firefighting unit you might see in a rural area, rather than a city. If your child is small, he or she may have trouble attaching some of the small pieces to the trailer, or placing them in the hands of the fireman that comes with this. Overall, it's a great little set.
But beware this unit will probably make your kid want more fire units. The new fire station out this year from Lego is a dandy, and this little unit will only add to the fun.

(More customer reviews)I got this for the boys (ages 4.5 and 3.5) for Christmas and it was a huge hit! I love that it comes in a storage container that is easy for them to open. They love all the million pieces and different options. The helicopter is often fought over and there are endless combinations to build different buildings and such. The tree with the cat is pretty neat too! Overall a good purchase and well used toy! I thought my older son would find it too basic and prefer the smaller legos but he likes this one better!

(More customer reviews)I just recently got back into Legos with my 2 young children. I loved Legos as a kid and had been away for many years. This was one of the first new kits we bought and we loved it. Airport fire trucks are unique, and this kit was no disappointment. The minifig it comes with is great. The construction was simple enough for my 4 year old to follow, but interesting enough for me to enjoy. I recommend it, great kit.

Lego Preschool Duplo Airport Action Set (7840) Review

(More customer reviews)My 2 year old son received this airplane as a gift on Christmas and has played with it a ton in the past couple of months since. Legos in general are great tools to allow kids to learn about the world around them and use their imagination. My son has spent hours loading the cargo hold of the plane with the forklift, having the passengers get into the plane for an imaginary trip to "Hawaii" or "California." It also helped us get him ready to go on long plane rides and long waits at the airport, as there is a context in his mind to seeing various airplanes out in the runway, and waiting in line to board the plane and such.
A couple of notes: Unlike other lego sets, this set isn't designed to allow kids to build different things, you pretty much have an airplane and thats all you will ever have with this. Also, we used some double sided tape to keep the wings tight to the body of the plane, as that is the annoying part of the lego toy (lego lovers can understand) that always keeps coming off.

(More customer reviews)My 2 year old son got this for his birthday 3 months ago, plays with is daily, and he hasn't gotten sick of it yet! It is by far the toy that is most played with in our house. The fact that the back comes off and turns into a "fire station" means that he can pretend in lots of different ways. He loves driving the truck around the floor and putting out pretend fires! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!
